The Pennington Research Association operates a mail list on RootsWeb.  The PRA mail list carries information about the PRA, general and specific queries on the Pennington surname and other information of interest to Pennington genealogy researchers.

Please read and follow the instructions below to join the PRA mail list.

You can join the mail list in either 'REGULAR" or in "DIGEST" mode.

To join in "regular" mode, just send a message with the command "subscribe" (no quotes) in the subject line and in the message text body to PRA-L-request@rootsweb.com (clicking here will start your e-mail program with the address to join, etc.).

To join in "digest" mode, just send a message with the command "subscribe" (no quotes) in the subject line and in the message text body to PRA-D-request@rootsweb.com (clicking here will start your e-mail program with the address to join, etc.).

Note: You can change to either "regular" or to "digest" mode at any time.  You will have to "unsubscribe" yourself from the list first and then "subscribe" to the list in the new mode.

The difference between "regular" and "digest" mode is this: In the "digest" mode, several postings are combined and sent to you together as a single large message.

Please read and follow the instructions below to quit (unsubscribe) the PRA mail list.
